As I stop and watch the the bees bounce from flower to flower, I become aware that I'm watching them do exactly what they are supposed to be doing. The bees and flowers have this amazing, harmonious energy. This energy which manifests as pollination is ultimately one component that makes up life as we know it. The most interesting thing is that (as far as we know) both the flowers and the bees have no concept of how their co-existence created and continues to support a foundation for other life to evolve. That concept is too grand for them. All the bee is doing is getting nectar so itself and future generations can live.
So what is it that I am supposed to be doing? What is it that we as individuals do that collectively we as a human species do? What is it that we are resonating energetically? Just like the bee and the flower, what is being created as a result of our actions that we ultimately cannot see because we are in it?
I don't have an answer, but I think it might have something to do with our consciousness. We have the ability to spread our consciousness. We can react to various things from the collective consciousness and decide to change our lives according. We can learn, reflect, grow, and evolve. We can create our reality.
With this thought buzzing through my head I leave the bees and flowers behind, appreciative of the reality they have helped to create.
Is spreading consciousness not a form of pollination? Isn't our energy, both individually and collectively just seeds being left for the future, for a reality we may not even be able to perceive yet? What is the reality that we are creating?
This whole "new age" idea of a shift I view as simply a choice. Life will continue on. The question is what will that life look like?
No future is right or wrong, but as humans we have the ability and perhaps even the responsibility to contemplate. Our thoughts and actions are a part of the creative energy which is manifesting the world around us. What world are you/we creating?
(Disclaimer: In general, I foresee these posts to be mostly spiritual in nature.)
